6. NIEPMD Recruitment 2024 : Important Notes
Important Notes for the Consultant Positions:
- Contractual Basis: The positions are purely on a contractual basis.
- Governance: Engagement will be governed by the rules and regulations of the Institute as framed or amended by the Ministry.
- Remuneration: A fixed monthly amount will be provided with no other allowances. Annual increment of 3% will be allowed. Paid leave of absence is 1.5 days for each completed month of service.
- Term of Appointment: Initial appointment for up to 3 years, extendable to a maximum of 5 years. Renewals depend on performance appraisals.
- Full-Time Basis: The appointment is full-time, and consultants cannot undertake other commercial assignments.
- Posting and Transfers: Candidates may be posted at NIEPMD (D), Chennai or its sub-centres and can be transferred to any location under NIEPMD (D), Chennai’s administrative control.
- Termination and Resignation: The contract can be terminated by giving 30 days’ notice by either party. Consultants wishing to resign must also give 30 days’ notice or remuneration in lieu thereof.
- Political/Official Interference: Any political or official interference will lead to disqualification, and no correspondence will be entertained regarding this.
- Data Retention: Application data from non-shortlisted candidates will be retained for six months after the engagement process is completed.
