3. CSL Recruitment 2024 : Eligibility
To apply offline for CSL Recruitment 2024, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria discussed in this section:
a) CSL Recruitment 2024 : Age Limit
- Upper Age Limit: The maximum age limit for the posts is 30 years as of 21st September 2024. Therefore, candidates must have been born on or after 22nd September 1994.
- Age Relaxation:
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Candidates belonging to this category are eligible for a 3-year relaxation, making their upper age limit 33 years.
- SC/ST: Candidates in these categories are entitled to a 5-year relaxation, making their upper age limit 35 years.
- PwBD and Ex-Servicemen: Age relaxation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen will be provided according to Government of India guidelines. However, even with all applicable relaxations, the maximum age limit cannot exceed 45 years.

- Tests will be conducted at various centers in Kerala or Kochi, as decided by CSL. Applicants can select test centers in Kerala while completing their online application. CSL has the sole discretion to allocate examination centers.
- Minimum Pass Marks:
- Unreserved & EWS Candidates: 50% of Total Marks in each test.
- OBC Candidates: 45% of Total Marks in each test (for OBC reserved vacancies).
- SC/ST Candidates: 40% of Total Marks in each test (for SC/ST reserved vacancies).
- PwBD Candidates: 40% of Total Marks in each test.
- Evaluation and Shortlisting:
- Descriptive test answer sheets will only be evaluated for candidates who achieve the minimum pass marks in the Objective Type Test.
- Candidates who pass the tests will be shortlisted for certificate verification. They must produce original certificates for age, educational qualifications, and reservation categories (OBC/SC/ST/EWS/PwBD) along with self-attested copies at the time of verification.
- Provisional Selection:
- Candidates who complete certificate verification successfully will be considered provisionally for selection based on merit/reservation and medical fitness.
