Pay and Allowances

The pay and allowances for the positions are equivalent to those applicable to Central Government employees posted in Kalyani/Kolkata or the place of posting. The remuneration package is currently based on the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission of the Government of India.

5. NIBMG Recruitment 2024 : Selection Process

Selection Process

The selection process for the positions will include the following stages:

  1. Scrutiny of Applications and Shortlisting:
    • Applications will be scrutinized based on eligibility criteria, job description, and details of experience provided by the candidates.
    • If the number of applications is large, the Institute will use Shortlisting Criteria to limit the number of candidates for the written test and/or skill test. Shortlisting may be based on:
      • Higher qualifications than the minimum prescribed.
      • More experience in the relevant field than the minimum required.
      • Experience counted only after acquiring essential qualifications.
      • A Recruitment Test.
  2. Complete Information Required:
    • Candidates should provide complete and accurate information regarding their qualifications and experience beyond the minimum requirements. All information provided must be true.
  3. Right to Raise Eligibility Criteria:
    • NIBMG reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards/criteria and/or conduct a screening test to restrict the number of candidates if necessary.
  4. Final Decision:
    • The decision of NIBMG regarding the scrutiny of applications and shortlisting will be final and binding.
    • Appointment of selected candidates will be subject to medical fitness as per the Pre-Employment Medical Examination and Government of India norms.

      • Pay Certificate from concerned organizations (Govt/Public/Private Sector) supporting the relevant pay scale/emoluments/equivalent level.
      • A chart indicating the Executive/Gazetted Officer Cadre in the organization and the applicant’s position in the hierarchy for relevant experience.
    • Proof of Experience should be self-attested.
    • Proof of Date of Birth (Class X certificate / Birth Certificate)
    • Caste Certificate (OBC) for claiming Reservation/Relaxation/concessions
    • Any other relevant documents
  4. Regular Updates:
    • After applying, regularly check the Institute website https://www.nibmg.ac.in and your registered e-mail for updates. Further communication will be made via e-mail only.
  5. Age, Qualification, and Experience Calculation:
    • Age, qualifications, and experience will be calculated based on the closing date of the application as mentioned in the Employment News/Rojgar Samachar. Traineeship periods will not be counted as experience.

General Information and Terms & Conditions

  1. Eligibility: Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for positions at NIBMG.
  2. Eligibility Criteria: Candidates should ensure they meet the eligibility criteria and other norms mentioned in the advertisement before applying.
  3. Qualifications: Essential qualifications must be recognized in India and obtained from a recognized institution or university.
  4. Experience: Experience must be acquired after obtaining the minimum educational qualifications required for the post.
  5. CGPA/OGPA Conversion: If a degree/diploma is awarded with CGPA/OGPA or Letter Grade, its equivalent percentage must be indicated in the application as per university/institute norms.

    • Withheld or provided false information to secure the appointment.
    • Lied under oath.
    • Has been convicted of a criminal offence under IPC or other legal provisions.
    • Engaged in activities prejudicial to the interests of the State.
