Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for engagement as an apprentice under the Apprentices Act, 1961, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Age Requirements:
- Candidates must be at least 14 years of age.
- For designated trades related to hazardous industries, candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
- Educational and Physical Fitness Standards:
- Candidates must satisfy the educational qualifications and physical fitness standards as prescribed for the specific trade.

Eligible and interested candidates are invited to attend a Walk-in Interview for the ITI Trade Apprenticeship position. Please bring your completed application form (attached below), a recent passport-size photograph, and attested copies of certificates and testimonials.

- Time: Between 09:00 AM and 11:00 AM

Important Notes
- Travel Allowance: No travelling allowance will be provided for attending the Walk-in Interview.
- Document Translation: Documents or certificates in languages other than Hindi or English must be accompanied by an English translation, duly attested by a Gazetted Officer or Notary.

6. CLRI Recruitment 2024 : General Conditions
General Conditions
- Qualification Date: The qualification date will be considered as the date of the Walk-in Interview.
- Document Verification:
- Candidates must bring original certificates for age, educational qualifications, and other relevant documents to the Walk-in Interview.
- Incomplete applications, or those without a photo, photocopies of certificates, testimonials, or original documents, will not be entertained.
- Eligibility: Only candidates meeting the specified qualifications will be allowed to attend the Walk-in Interview.
- Training Standards:
- Only passed-out trainees of the NCVT pattern in the designated trade, registered with the Regional Directorate of Apprenticeship Training, Chennai or Govt. RI Centres, will be considered.
- Registration: Candidates must be registered on the apprenticeship web portal: https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/
- Certification: Successful candidates will receive a National Apprenticeship Certificate from the National Council for Vocational Training.
- Previous Training: Candidates who are currently undergoing or have previously completed Apprenticeship Training are not eligible to attend the Walk-in Interview.
- Empanelment: Suitable candidates will be empaneled for potential future requirements of the Institute.
- Application Format: Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format only. Other formats will not be considered.
- Submission Method: Applications should not be sent by post, speed post, or courier.
- Incomplete Applications: Applications with missing information, certificates, documents, or photographs will be rejected.
