For All Trades (Except Medical Laboratory Technician) | Must have passed 10th class or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks (no rounding off), from a recognized board. |
For Medical Laboratory Technician (Pathology & Radiology) | Must have passed 12th class or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with Physics, Chemistry & Biology. Must also possess the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/SCVT. |

5. Selection Process
1. Merit-Based Selection: Candidates will be selected based on a merit list.
2. Merit List Criteria: Average marks of 10th grade and ITI/Trade marks are considered.
3. Division and Trade Wise: Merit lists are prepared based on the trade, division/unit, and community chosen by the candidate.
4. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification by the concerned division/unit.
5. Tie-Breaker: If marks are tied, older candidates are given preference; if birthdates are the same, earlier matriculation passers are prioritized.
6. Final Merit List: Prepared based on trade, division/unit, and community, in descending order of marks.
7. Waiting List: If there’s a shortfall in a trade, waiting list candidates from other divisions/units may be considered.
