1. Minimum Educational Qualifications
- Trade (ITI) Apprentices:
- Candidates must be ITI pass-outs in the specific trade under the NCVT pattern, registered with RDAT, Chennai.
- Technician (Diploma) / Graduate (Degree) Apprentices:
- Full-time graduate degree or diploma in Engineering/Technology from a recognized institution or state board.
2. Additional Eligibility Requirements
- Graduation Years: Candidates should have passed the qualifying exams in 2021, 2022, 2023, or 2024.
- Apprenticeship Portal Registration: Candidates must be registered on the Apprenticeship Portal.
- Apprenticeship/Experience Restrictions:
- Should not have undergone or be currently undergoing apprenticeship in CSIR or other organizations.
- Should not have more than one year of job experience.
- Course Validity: Only full-time courses are accepted; part-time, distance learning, and short-term certificates are not eligible.
3. Age Criteria
- ITI Apprentices: Minimum age of 14 years.
- Technician/Diploma Apprentices: 18 to 24 years.
- Graduate/Degree Apprentices: 21 to 26 years.
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PWD: Up to 10 years (15 years for SC/ST, 13 years for OBC-NCL).
