The Northern Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC NR) has released the official notification for the Scouts & Guides Quota Recruitment 2024. This recruitment drive aims to fill various Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ posts through an open competitive examination. Eligible candidates with active membership in Scouts & Guides are invited to apply online. The candidates who applied in response to the notification and are deemed eligible after the scrutiny process will be invited to participate in a written examination. Those who pass the written test will then proceed to the Document Verification stage. A panel will be created based on the merit positions of successful candidates in both the written examination and the certificate marks. The final assessment of candidates will be based on the following criteria:

1. Written Examination Performance: Scores obtained in the written examination.
2. Document Verification: Accuracy and completeness of the documents provided.
3. Merit Position: Overall ranking based on performance in the written test and certificate marks.

6. How to Apply

1. Read the Notification: Ensure you have carefully read the notification and understood all the instructions related to the recruitment process.
2. Undertaking Box:
   • At the end of the notification, you will find a box where you need to click to indicate that you have read and understood the notification and instructions.
3. Apply Online:
   • Click on the “APPLY ONLINE” button. This will open the login box.
4. Login or Register:
   • For Already Registered Candidates: Enter your login credentials.
   • For New Registrations: Click on the option for new registration and follow the prompts to create a new account.
5. Candidate Dashboard:
   • Once logged in, you will see your candidate dashboard. Initially, the dashboard will show a RED color indicating incomplete steps. As you progress, it will turn GREEN step-by-step.
6. Complete the Application:
   • The application process is divided into Part I to Part IV. You can complete the application in one go or in parts. Ensure you fill out all sections completely.
7. Print Payment Slip and Application:
   • You have the option to take a printout of the payment slip and the completed application form for future reference. This can be done either after completing all parts or after each part, as needed.
8. Follow Instructions:
   • Adhere to any additional instructions provided by the software during the online application process. This will guide you through each step of the submission process.
9. Complete by Deadline:
   • Ensure that all parts of the application are completed and submitted before the last date given in the notification.
