Eligibility Criteria
1. Qualifications:
- The applicant must possess knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Life insurance
- General insurance
- Actuarial science
- Finance
- Economics
- Law
- Accountancy
- Administration
- Any other discipline deemed useful by the Central Government for the Authority.
2. Experience:
- The applicant should ideally have at least 25 years of experience in the insurance sector (including general and health insurance).
- A minimum of three years’ experience at a senior level is required, specifically not below the rank of a Chief General Manager of the Reserve Bank of India or an equivalent position in other regulatory bodies, financial institutions, or insurance companies.
3. Citizenship:
- The applicant must be a citizen of India.
4. Age Limit:
- The applicant should not exceed 60 years of age on the expected date of vacancy, which is November 16, 2024.
