1. Essential Qualification:
- Educational Qualification:
- Passed Matriculation Examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board.
- Technical Qualification:
- ITI certificate affiliated with NCVT/SCVT is compulsory in the COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant) trade.
2. Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 15 years (completed)
- Maximum Age: 25 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 10 years
- PwBD: 10 years
3. IRCTC Recruitment 2024 : Stipend
Stipend
- Candidates selected for the apprenticeship positions will be paid a monthly stipend according to the rates specified under the Apprenticeship Act.

Selection Process
1. Merit-Based Selection:
- The merit list will be prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained in the matriculation examination.
- For candidates with a grading system, the average of the highest and lowest grades will be considered.
2. Tie-Breaking Criteria:
- If two candidates have the same marks, the one with the older age will be preferred.
- If the age is also the same, preference will be given to the candidate who passed the matriculation exam earlier.
3. No Written Test or Interview:
- The selection process will not include a written test or viva voce.
4. Document Verification:
- Final selection is subject to the verification of original documents (e.g., educational qualifications, experience certificates).
5. Stand-by List:
- Candidates in the stand-by list may be offered a position if there are absentees or rejected candidates from the merit list.
6. Offer Issuance:
- Offers will be made strictly in order of merit.
7. Readiness for Verification:
- Shortlisted candidates should be ready to report for document and certificate verification on short notice.

1. Ensure Correct Details:
- Your name, father’s name, and date of birth must match exactly with the details in your Matriculation or equivalent certificate. Any mismatch during document verification will result in the cancellation of your candidature.
2. Register on the Portal:
- You must register on the Apprenticeship Portal. Provide the details of your registration.
3. Prepare for Document Verification:
- If you are selected, you will need to report for Document/Certificate Verification with your original documents.
4. Submit EWS Certificate (if applicable):
- If you are applying under the EWS quota, make sure to submit your EWS certificate.

- 10th Standard Mark Sheet
- ITI Mark Sheet
- Proof of Date of Birth (e.g., 10th Standard Certificate, Birth Certificate, or School Leaving Certificate)
