2. BECIL Recruitment 2024 : Job Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee radio operations and ensure the facility is maintained, including regular checks on equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on the facility, including main and UPS power supply, earthing, etc.
- Manage programming as per the Radio Act for broadcasting, including recording, editing, and organizing audio files.
- Maintain an archive of previous programs and logs of broadcasts.
- Coordinate program scheduling in consultation with the station head or in-charge.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Essential Qualification:
- Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Electrical Engineering
2. Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or Certificate in Sound Recording
- Good Voice Quality for audio tasks
- Knowledge of recording software such as Cubase & Nuendo
3. Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in media (Audio/Video).
4. Upper Age Limit:
- 30 years as of 31st March 2024

Pay Scale
- Rs.30,000/- per month.
5. BECIL Recruitment 2024 : Selection Process
Selection Process
1. Application Shortlisting
- Applications will be shortlisted based on candidates’ relevant experience.
2. Merit List Preparation
- A merit list will be prepared in descending order of experience.
3. Publication of Shortlisted Candidates
- The list of shortlisted candidates eligible for the interview will be published on the BECIL website.
4. Interview Process
- Candidates will be called for an online interview (via Video Conferencing) in batches:
- The top 5 candidates from the merit list will be called in the first batch.
- If no candidate is selected in the first batch, the next top 5 will be called, and this process will continue until a candidate is selected.
5. Selection Committee
- The Screening-cum-Selection Committee constituted by BECIL will conduct the final interview.
6. Final Selection
- Selection will be based on candidates’ performance and marks obtained in the interview.
7. Result Announcement
- The final selection result will be published on the BECIL website.
