The Water Quality (Microbiologist) Expert will focus on ensuring NABL accreditation of water quality laboratories on microbial parameters, involving:
- Assessing laboratories for compliance with NABL standards.

- Reviewing test results and providing technical guidance.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Essential Qualifications:
PhD in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Life Sciences, Public Health, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field, with:
- NET/GATE qualification.
- At least 5 years of teaching and/or research experience.
Postgraduate degree (PG) in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Life Sciences, Public Health, Water Resources Engineering, or Environment Management, with:
- Minimum 8 years of teaching and/or research experience.
2. Desirable Experience:
- Experience in microbial water testing, especially in detecting contaminants like coliforms and E. coli.
- Knowledge of NABL accreditation standards and processes.
- Expertise in developing and validating SOPs for microbial testing in water labs.
- Experience in working with NABL-accredited laboratories and understanding of quality control systems.
