2. Zoological Survey of India Recruitment 2024 : Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Zoology or Life Sciences from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks.
2. Desirable Qualifications:
- Research experience in taxonomy, systematics, and ecology.
- Experience in conducting field surveys.
- Knowledge of computer applications and basic field data collection.
- Preferably NET (LS) or GATE qualified.
3. Age Limit:
- The maximum age limit is 28 years as of 22.11.2024.
- Relaxation:
- 5 years relaxation for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and Physically Handicapped categories.
- Age relaxation is granted as per the Government of India rules and regulations.

Pay Scale
- For NET(LS)/GATE/any National Level Examination Qualified Candidates:
₹31,000/- + Admissible HRA (As per rules) per month. - For Other Candidates:
₹24,000/- + Admissible HRA (As per rules) per month.
