Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualifications

a.) Required:

• M.F.Sc or M.Sc in Aquaculture, Aquatic Biology, Marine Biology, or Life Sciences from a recognized university.
• For candidates with postgraduate degrees in Basic Sciences:
  • Bachelor’s degree (3 years) + Master’s degree (2 years).
  • Must have NET qualification.
  • Two years of research experience as per the following official memorandums:
    • OM No. Edn/6/27/2014/HRD (13th July 2015).
    • OM No. Agri. Edn. 6/27/2014-HRD (9th October 2015).
    • OM SR/89/Z-09/2018 of DST (30th January 2019).

b.) Preferred:

• Work experience in Mariculture-related activities.

2. Age Limit

• Maximum: 35 years.
• Relaxation available for OBC/SC/ST candidates as per Government of India norms.

Pay Scale

• Rs.37,000/- + HRA for 1st & 2nd Year
• Rs.42,000/- + HRA for 3rd Year
