1. Educational Qualifications:
- Matriculation Examination:
- Must have passed with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board.
- Technical Qualification:
- ITI certificate in COPA trade, affiliated with NCVT/SCVT, is mandatory.
2. Age Limit (as of 01.11.2024):
- Age: 15 to 25 years.
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: Up to 30 years (5 years relaxation).
- OBC: Up to 28 years (3 years relaxation).
- Ex-Servicemen: Up to 35 years (10 years relaxation).
- Differently-abled candidates: Up to 35 years (10 years relaxation).

Selection Process
1. Merit-Based Selection:
- A merit list will be prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained in the matriculation examination.
- If the matriculation marking system uses grades, the average of the highest and lowest marks in the grade will be considered.
2. Tie-Breaking Criteria:
- If two candidates have the same marks, preference will be given to the older candidate.
- If the date of birth is also the same, the candidate who passed matriculation earlier will be given priority.
3. No Written Test or Interview:
- There will be no written test or viva for the selection process.
4. Verification of Documents:
- Final selection is subject to verification of original testimonials.
