1. Educational Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Medical Degree: MD/ MS/ DM/ M.Ch. in the respective discipline from a recognized university or institution.

2. Registration:
- Candidates must have a valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI), National Medical Commission (NMC), or the State Medical Council.
3. Special Requirement for Trauma & Emergency Medicine:
- Candidates with a valid postgraduate medical degree in Anesthesia, Trauma & Emergency Medicine, or Medical and Surgical Broad and Super Specialties are eligible to apply for vacancies in Trauma & Emergency Medicine.

The selected candidates for the post of Senior Resident will be placed in Level 11 of the pay matrix as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) guidelines. In addition to the basic pay, they will receive the usual allowances, including Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA).
