1. Scientist C (Med.)
- Essential Qualifications:
- Post Graduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) with one year R&D/teaching experience, OR
- Post Graduate diploma in medical subjects with two years R&D/teaching experience, OR
- MBBS with four years R&D/teaching experience, OR
- BDS/B. V. Sc & AH with five years R&D/teaching experience.
- Desirable Qualifications:
- MD in the relevant subject.
- Additional post-doctoral research/training.
- Knowledge in molecular lab work, bioinformatics, and computer applications.
- Original article publication in indexed journals.
- Remarks:
- MD/MS/MDS is equivalent to three years’ experience.
- Post Graduate diploma is equivalent to two years’ experience.
2. Scientist B (Non-Med.)
- Essential Qualifications:
- BE/B. Tech with 2 years experience, OR
- 1st class Master’s degree, OR
- 2nd class M.Sc. + Ph.D.
- Desirable Qualifications:
- Doctorate or M.Tech in relevant subjects.
- Additional post-doctoral research/training in molecular microbiology/PCR/NGS.
- Knowledge in bioinformatics and computer applications.
- Two years R&D/teaching experience.
- Original article publication in indexed journals.
- Remarks:
- Ph.D. is equivalent to three years’ experience.
- Preference for candidates with Ph.D. or M.Tech degrees.

The selection process will include a walk-in interview and/or a written test followed by an interview.
- The date and schedule for the written test, interview, and/or skill test will be published on the AIIMS Bilaspur website.
- These events will be conducted at AIIMS Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh.
