Eligibility Criteria
1. Current Position:
- Officers from Police Departments of the Central/State/UT governments or Officers of the Armed Forces, including Para Military Forces.
2. Experience Requirements:
- Must be currently holding an analogous post or have a minimum of 5 years of regular service in a position within Pay Band-3 (Rs. 15,600 – 39,100) with Grade Pay of 5400 or above.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in security management and handling employee agitations and strikes.
3. Age Limit:
- Maximum age limit for applying on deputation: 56 years (as of the last date for application submission).

Selection Process

How to Apply
1. Application Submission:
- Officers meeting the eligibility criteria should submit their application in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-I).
- Applications must be sent through proper channel to the following address:

2. Envelope Labeling:
- The envelope should be superscripted with:
“Application for the Post of Deputy Chief Security Officer on Deputation Basis”.
3. Verification and Documentation:
- Forwarding Authority: Ensure that candidate details are verified and eligibility criteria are met.
- Confidential Reports/APARs: Enclose attested photocopies of Confidential Reports/APARs (for the last 5 years), with each page signed by an officer at least of the rank or pay level of Under Secretary to the Government of India.
- Vigilance Clearance: Confirm that no vigilance or disciplinary proceedings are pending or contemplated against the candidate.
4. Important Notes:
