a) Cabinet Secretariat Recruitment 2024 Educational Qualification

  1. Educational Qualification:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology
    • Master’s degree in Science or a technical/scientific discipline from a recognized university or institution
    • Candidates must possess qualifications that align with their GATE score in the corresponding subject paper as mentioned in the official recruitment notification.
  2. GATE Exam:
    • Valid GATE score from 2022, 2023, or 2024 is required. The GATE score must correspond to the subject paper that aligns with the candidate’s educational qualifications.

b) Cabinet Secretariat Recruitment 2024 Age Limit

  • Maximum age: 30 years
  • Age relaxation as per Central Government rules for SC/ST/OBC/Central Govt. Employees/Ex-servicemen.

  • Pay Scale: Level-7 in Pay Matrix, Group ‘B’, non-Gazetted (Approx. Rs. 95,000/- per month including allowances at New Delhi)

Selection Process

  1. Merit List:
    Applications received by the closing date will be arranged in order of merit based on valid GATE scores. Separate merit lists will be created for each subject (CS/EC).
  2. Shortlisting:
    Candidates will be shortlisted for interviews (5 times the number of vacancies) based on their GATE scores in their respective subject papers.
  3. Interview Locations:
    Shortlisted candidates can choose one of the following interview centers:
    • Chennai
    • Gurugram
    • Guwahati
    • Jammu
    • Jodhpur
    • Kolkata
    • Lucknow
    • Mumbai
  4. Final Selection:
    The final selection will be based on the GATE score and interview performance, followed by Character & Antecedent verification and medical examination.

Application Process

  1. Submission of Application:
    • Eligible candidates must submit the duly filled-in application form along with self-attested copies of the following documents:
      • Mark-sheets & certificates (Matriculation, 10+2, B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc.)
      • Valid GATE Score Card
      • Caste Certificate (Annexure-I or II) for age relaxation (if applicable)
      • NOC from present employer (if applicable)
      • Undertaking (Annexure-III) and Discharge Certificate in case of ex-servicemen
  2. Filling the Application:
    • The Application Form should be typed on A-4 size paper.
    • Fill the form in English Capital (Block) letters using Black or Blue ink.
    • Ensure no column is left blank. Incomplete, unsigned, or applications with overwriting or missing photographs/requisite certificates will be rejected.
  3. Sending the Application:
    • The envelope containing the application form and required documents should be sent via Ordinary Post.
