Project Title: “Sustainable Waste Utilization of Chilli Pedicel in Quest of Nutraceutical Based Product”

Position Available: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

• No. of Positions: 01 (One)
• Operating Location: ICAR-CTRI, Rajahmundry

Essential Qualifications:

• B.S. 4-year program / Integrated BS-MS / MSc in Organic Chemistry or Agricultural Chemicals / BE / BTech or equivalent degree with 55% marks.
• Candidates must have passed the NET/GATE exam. (Preference will be given to candidates with qualifications in Chemistry, Agricultural Chemicals, Agricultural Science & Technology, or Food Science & Technology.)

Note: Non-NET or non-GATE qualified candidates will not be considered as per the rules.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience with advanced instrumentation, analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, and phytochemistry.
• Proficiency in data compilation, report writing, and computer work.

Remuneration:

• ₹37,000 per month + HRA for the first two years.
• ₹42,000 per month in the third year upon upgradation, as per CSIR guidelines (vide CSIR letter No. AB-CSIR/HRDG(EM)/109/2022-Admin-HRDG-CSIR HQ, dated 10.05.2024).

Duration:

• Initially for a period of one year, with the possibility of extension based on project requirements.

Age Limit:

• Upper age limit is 28 years.

Project Title: “Software Expertise in Current Edge Technologies in AI, ML and its Implementation using CNN Models, including Assistance in Database Creation, Software Validation, Mobile App Development, and Software System Monitoring”

3. ICAR CTRI Recruitment 2024 : Selection Process

Selection Process

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on their qualifications, experience, publications, and other relevant criteria provided in the application form. The selection process will take into account the specific job requirements for each position.
• Notification of Shortlisting: Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for the interview via email only. Therefore, applicants must ensure that their email address is clearly mentioned in the application form.
• Interview Locations: Interviews will be conducted at the respective project operating locations/stations where the positions are available.
• The selected candidates at their expenses will be medically examined for fitness before engagement.

4. ICAR CTRI Recruitment 2024 : Application Submission Guidelines

Application Submission Guidelines

1. Separate Applications:
   Interested candidates must submit separate applications for each position. Shortlisting or scrutinization will be based on applications received for each specific position. Note: Submitting one application for multiple positions will lead to rejection.
2. Application Submission:
   The application must be in the prescribed format (Annexure-I) and signed. It must be accompanied by self-attested copies of all relevant certificates, enclosed in a properly sealed envelope.
   The envelope should clearly mention the position applied for, the notification number, and the date.
   Example:
