Required Qualifications and Experience
a) Joint General Manager / Deputy General Manager (Underground – Design) [Post Code – 1]
- Qualification: B.E/B.Tech (Civil) from a recognized University/Institute. M.E/M.Tech (Civil/Structural Engineering) preferred.
- Experience: 15 years (JGM) or 13 years (DGM) in planning and design of viaducts, bridges, and multistorey buildings, with at least 8 years in Metro Railway projects involving viaducts, tunnels, and underground stations. Proficiency in design software and familiarity with Indian & Euro codes is required.
b) Joint General Manager / Deputy General Manager (Elevated – Design) [Post Code – 2]
- Qualification: B.E/B.Tech (Civil) from a recognized University/Institute. M.E/M.Tech (Civil/Structural Engineering) preferred.
- Experience: 15 years (JGM) or 13 years (DGM) in planning and design of viaducts, bridges, and multistorey buildings, with at least 8 years in Metro Railway projects involving elevated viaducts and stations. Proficiency in design software and familiarity with Indian & Euro codes is required.
c) Joint General Manager / Deputy General Manager (PIMS) [Post Code – 3]
- Qualification: B.E/B.Tech (Civil) from a recognized University/Institute. Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field is desirable.
- Experience: 15 years (JGM) or 13 years (DGM) in project management with at least 7 years in ERP, SAP, and other project management software. Experience in managing teams and familiarity with MS Office and CAD is required.
d) Deputy General Manager (Electrical & Mechanical) [Post Code – 4]
- Qualification: B.E/B.Tech (ECE/EEE/Mechanical) from a recognized Institute/University.
- Experience: JAG grade (Group A) with 6 years or Group B with 10 years of experience in MEP/E&M systems, including electrical power supply, UPS, fire protection, plumbing, and BMS/SCADA systems, preferably in railway or metro rail projects.
- Age: Maximum 45 years (relaxable for deserving candidates).
- Tenure: Initial 3 years, extendable up to 5 years.
e) Deputy Manager (Transport Planning) [Post Code – 5]
- Qualification: M.E/M.Tech (Transportation Planning/Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Urban Engineering) from a recognized University/Institute.
- Experience: 4 years in transportation infrastructure projects, including city-level studies like CCTS, CMP, and DPR.
f) Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager (QA/QC) [Post Code – 6]
- Qualification: B.E/B.Tech (Civil) from a recognized University/Institute.
- Experience: 4 years (DM) or 2 years (AM) in QA/QC in metro rail or large infrastructure projects. Additional certification in Quality is advantageous.
4. CMRL Recruitment 2024 : Selection Procedure
Selection Process
The selection process for the CMRL recruitment involves a two-stage procedure:
- Interview: Candidates will be assessed based on their knowledge, skills, comprehension, attitude, and aptitude.
- Medical Examination:
- First-time Examination: The cost of the initial medical examination will be covered by CMRL.
- Subsequent Examination: If a candidate requests an extension for joining, the cost of a second medical examination will be the candidate’s responsibility.
- Travel Expenses: Candidates must cover their own travel expenses to and from the medical examination.
Candidates who do not pass the prescribed medical test will not be considered for alternative employment. CMRL’s decision on medical examination results is final.
