2. CRIS Recruitment 2024 : Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for Railway Employees:
1. Substantive Grade in Pay Level 7:
- Railway employees working in Pay Level 7 in the Engineering Department should have a minimum of 5 years of service in the relevant grade.
2. Substantive Grade in Pay Level 6:
- Railway employees working in Pay Level 6 in the Engineering Department must have:
- At least 6 years of service in the relevant grade, and
- Completed a minimum of 20 years of service in Group ‘C’.
3. Combination of Pay Levels 6 and 7:
- Railway employees in Pay Level 7 with less than 5 years of service in the relevant grade but have:
- At least 6 years of service in Pay Level 6, and
- Completed 20 years of total service in Group ‘C’.
4. Employees in Pay Levels 8 & 9 (Non-Gazetted):
- Railway employees working in Pay Level 8 and Pay Level 9 (non-Gazetted) under MACPS (Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme), including those who have been upgraded, are also eligible.
Additional Requirements:
- Experience: Candidates should have experience in dealing with contracts, tenders, etc., and be proficient in a computerized environment.
For Employees Not Meeting the Above Criteria:
- Employees who do not meet the above eligibility will be eligible for parent pay plus deputation allowance and will be designated as Senior Executive or Executive in Pay Level 7/6.

- Level 10 (as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix)
2. Senior Executive/Executive:
- Level 7/6 (as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix)
