Eligibility Criteria
1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
- Essential Qualification:
- MSc/M.Tech/ME in Physics, Electronics Science, Applied Physics, Optics, Photonics, Laser & Electro-optics, Laser Technology, Applied Optics, Opto-Electronics, Optical Communication, Electronics Engineering, or Electronics & Communication Engineering (or equivalent) with NET/GATE.
- Desirable Specialization/Expertise:
- Knowledge in FPGA Programming, DSP with FPGA, Communication with FPGA, Optical System Designing, or hands-on experience with optics or communication systems.
- Note: Candidates without a GATE/NET score may also apply. If selected, they will be designated as Project Associates with a consolidated stipend of Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 28,000 per month, depending on experience.
- Upper Age Limit: Not to exceed 28 years.
2. Senior Research Fellow (SRF):
- Essential Qualification:
- MSc/M.Tech/ME in Physics, Electronics Science, Applied Physics, Optics, Photonics, Laser & Electro-optics, Laser Technology, Applied Optics, Opto-Electronics, Optical Communication, Electronics Engineering, or Electronics & Communication Engineering (or equivalent) with NET/GATE.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of research, teaching, or industrial experience in the area of laser and photonics is mandatory.
- Upper Age Limit: Not to exceed 30 years.
3. DIAT Recruitment 2024 : Pay Scale
Pay Scale
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Rs. 37,000/- + 30% HRA per month.
- Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Rs. 42,000/- + 30% HRA per month.
4. DIAT Recruitment 2024 : Selection Process
Selection Process
- Interview Invitation: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their suitability for the project. Those selected for an interview will be individually notified via email.
- Interview Format: The interviews may be conducted in-person or via video conferencing, depending on what is deemed suitable by DIAT. The selected candidates will be informed of the interview mode in their notification email.
- Documentation: Candidates must bring their original application along with all necessary educational and supporting documents, including project reports and publications, to the interview.
- Travel Expenses: Please note that no Travel Allowance (TA) or Daily Allowance (DA) will be provided for attending the interview, regardless of the mode.
