2. DMRC Recruitment 2024 : Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria (as of 01/10/2024)

1. Age Requirement

• Minimum Age: 50 years.

2. Educational Qualification

• Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum Marks: 60% from a recognized university or institute.

3. Experience Requirements

• Years of Experience: At least 25 years in Civil Engineering.
• Project Management:
  • Hands-on experience with Metro/Railway Elevated Projects or New Line Gauge Conversion.
  • Project Scale: Managed projects valued over INR 1000 Crores within a 3-year period as Chief Project Manager (CPM) or Project Director (PD).
• Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in Signaling, Electrical & Mechanical (E&M), Traction, and Rolling Stock Interface Management.
• Computer Proficiency: Skilled in relevant computer applications for project management.
• Preferred Background: Experience with Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS) projects is highly desirable.

4. Additional Conditions

• Clean Record: Candidates should be free from any D&AR (Discipline and Appeal Rules) or Vigilance cases.

Pay Scale

• Immediate Absorption Basis:
  • Salary Range: ₹1,20,000 – ₹2,80,000 (IDA)
• Deputation Basis:
  • Salary: Parent Department Pay + Deputation Allowance

4. DMRC Recruitment 2024 : Selection Process

Selection Process

1. For Candidates Applying on Deputation Basis:

• Interview:
  • Candidates will be required to attend a personal interview.

2. For Candidates Applying on Direct Recruitment/Absorption Basis:

• Interview:
  • All candidates will go through a personal interview.
• Medical Fitness Test:
  • Candidates must pass a medical examination tailored for Executive/Technical roles.

3. Assessment Criteria

• Candidates will be evaluated on:
  • Knowledge: Understanding of relevant topics.
  • Skills: Practical abilities related to the job.
  • Physical Fitness: Health and fitness level.

4. Important Notes

• Candidates must pass both the interview and medical tests to be considered suitable for selection.
• If a candidate fails the medical test, they will not receive any alternative employment offers. The Corporation’s decision is final regarding this matter.

  • Copies of APARs for the last five years
  • Vigilance and D&AR clearance using the attached pro forma in Annexure-II.
