2. DMRC Recruitment 2024 : Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility Criteria
a.) Educational Qualification
- Degree Required: B.E. (Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent.
- The degree must be from a Government recognized University/Institute.
b.) Age Limit (as on 01.10.2024)
1. For Deputation:
- Maximum Age: 55 years.
- Note: The superannuation age in DMRC is 60 years.
2. For Post-Retirement Contractual Engagement:
- Minimum Age: 55 years.
- Maximum Age: 62 years.
c.) Experience Requirements
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in:
- Inspection of manufacturing of Railway/Metro Coaches.
- Maintenance of Railway/Metro Rolling Stock.
- Experience in Railway Workshops/Railway Production Units.
d.) Additional Notes
- Officers currently working in or retired from Railways/Government Organizations/CPSUs/Metros in the relevant CDA/IDA pay scale are eligible, including those on deputation.
- Officials currently in regular service must opt for retirement through VRS (Voluntary Retirement Scheme) or otherwise before joining DMRC.
3. DMRC Recruitment 2024 : Pay Scale
Pay Scale
a.) In Case of Deputation
- Parent Department Pay: Parent department pay plus deputation allowance.
b.) Consolidated Salary (in Case of Post-Retirement Contractual Engagement – PRCE Basis)
- Manager (Inspection):
- Salary: Rs. 96,600/- per month.
- Assistant Manager (Inspection):
- Salary: Rs. 75,100/- per month.
4. DMRC Recruitment 2024 : Selection Process
Selection Process
a.) Screening Process
- The selection methodology for candidates applying on Deputation and Post-Retirement Contractual Engagement (PRCE) basis will consist of a Personal Interview.
b.) Medical Examination
- For candidates applying on the PRCE basis, a Medical Fitness Examination is mandatory for the grant of medical benefits.
- The Medical Examination will be categorized as Executive/Technical.
- Detailed information regarding the medical examination is available on the DMRC website.
c.) Assessment Criteria
- The selection process will evaluate various aspects including:
- Knowledge
- Skills
- Comprehension
- Aptitude
- Physical fitness
d.) Qualification Requirements
- Candidates must successfully qualify the screening process and medical examination to be deemed suitable for selection.
- Important Note: Candidates who do not pass the prescribed medical test will not be offered alternative employment, and the decision of the corporation will be final.
