1. Age Limit:
- Maximum Age: 28 years as of the date of the interview.
- Relaxation:
- SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
- OBC Candidates: 3 years (Note: OBC candidates in the creamy layer are not eligible for age relaxation.)
2. Educational Qualifications:
- Essential:
- Option 1: BE/B.Tech. with First Class in Computer Science & Engineering from a UGC-recognized university along with a qualified GATE score.
- Option 2: BE/B.Tech. with First Class in Computer Science & Engineering and M.E/M.Tech. with First Class in Computer Science & Engineering from a UGC-recognized university.
3. Desirable Skills:
- Proficiency in Programming in Advanced Java.
- Knowledge of RDBMS (Relational Database Management System).
3. DRDO DESIDOC Recruitment 2024 : Pay Scale
Pay Scale
- Stipend: JRFs will receive a stipend of Rs. 37,000/- per month.
- Additional Allowances: HRA (House Rent Allowance) as per DRDO Rules.
Important Note:
- Junior Research Fellows are not eligible for additional benefits such as:
- Dearness Allowance (DA)
- City Compensatory Allowance (CCA)
- Bonus
- Retirement benefits

Procedure for Attending the Interview
Eligible and qualified candidates should follow these steps to attend the interview:
- Walk-in Interview: Candidates can attend the interview at the specified venue on the date and time mentioned.
- Required Documents:
- Bio-Data: Complete Bio-Data form with a recent passport-sized photo affixed on the top right corner of the first page.
- Original Certificates: Candidates must bring original certificates for verification, including:
- Degree/Academic qualification certificates
- Mark sheets
- Experience certificates
- Copies: One set of photocopies of all the above documents.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC): Candidates currently employed in Government, Public Sector Undertakings, or Autonomous Bodies must provide a No Objection Certificate from their present employer.
