a.) Educational Qualifications
A. Faculty
- Must meet the qualifications as per NMC/MCI guidelines.
B. Super Specialist (Full/Part Time)
- A recognized MBBS degree included in the first or second schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Post Graduate Degree in the concerned super speciality (either full time or part time).
C. Super Specialist (Senior Scale)
- A recognized MBBS degree included in the first or second schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Post Graduate Degree in the concerned super speciality.
- A minimum of five years of experience in the concerned super speciality after obtaining the first post graduate degree.
- Note: For holders of Doctorate of Medicine (D.M) or Masters of Chirurgical (M.Ch) qualifications of five-year duration, the period of senior post graduate residency rendered in the last part of the said Doctorate of Medicine (D.M) or Masters of Chirurgical (M.Ch) will be counted towards the required experience.
D. Senior Residents
- PG degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized university.
- Valid registration with NMC/State Medical Council/State Dental Council.
b.) Age Limit (as on 21.10.2024):
- The age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
- Candidates seeking reservation benefits under SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories must provide original certificates in the prescribed format of the Government of India to support their claims.
- The OBC certificate should be current and not older than one year from the date of the interview.
