Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

Essential:

• Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines:
  • Agricultural Process Engineering
  • Agricultural Structures & Process Engineering
  • Post-Harvest Engineering and Technology
  • Processing and Food Engineering
  • Food Process Engineering

Or

• Candidates with a postgraduate degree in Basic Science must meet the following criteria:
  • Hold a 3-year Bachelor’s degree and a 2-year Master’s degree.
  • Possess a NET qualification.
  • Have 2 years of research experience as per the following guidelines:
    • OM No. Edn./6/27/2014/-HRD dated 13th July 2015.
    • OM No. agril. Edn. 6/27/2014-HRD dated 9th October 2015 by the Council.
    • OM SR/S9/Z-09/2018 of DST dated 30th January 2019.

Desirable:

• Published research papers.
• Experience in data analysis.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software tools.

2. Age Limit

• Maximum Age for Senior Research Fellows (SRFs):
  • 35 years for men.
  • 40 years for women.

3. ICAR CIPHET Recruitment 2024 : Salary Details

Salary Details

• For 1st and 2nd Years: ₹37,000/- + HRA per month.
• For 3rd Year: ₹42,000/- + HRA per month.

The selection process will be conducted through a Walk-in Interview.
