Stipend Details

  • For 2 Years of ITI Training Course: ₹8,050 per month.
  • For 1 Year of ITI Training Course: ₹7,700 per month.

4. IGCAR Recruitment 2024 : Selection Procedure

Selection Procedure

  1. Shortlisting Criteria:
    • ITI Certificate: Candidates must possess an ITI certificate in the respective trade as specified.
    • Marks in ITI Course: Selection will be based on the marks obtained in the ITI course.
  2. Tie-Breaker Criteria:
    • Higher 10th/8th Standard Marks: In case of a tie in ITI marks, the candidate with a higher percentage in 10th standard (or 8th standard for trades like Welder, Carpenter, Mason/Civil Mistry, Plumber) will be ranked higher.
    • Date of Birth: If there’s still a tie, the candidate born earlier will be given preference.
  3. Publication of Results:
    • The selected list for each trade will be published on the IGCAR website.
    • Candidates should regularly check the IGCAR website under the Opportunities > Recruitment tab for updates and information.
  4. Document Verification:
    • Shortlisted candidates must appear for document verification. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of their candidature.
  5. Correspondence:
    • All communication related to the recruitment process will be posted on the IGCAR website.

How to Apply

  1. Register Online:
    • Visit the Apprenticeship India web portal to register for enrollment as an apprentice.
    • Obtain a unique registration number (e.g., AXXXXXXXXXX) from this portal. Applications without this registration number will not be accepted.
  2. Complete AADHAR Verification:
    • Ensure AADHAR (E-KYC) verification is completed on the Apprenticeship India portal.
    • Provide details of the registered Email ID and Mobile Number during the E-KYC process in your application.
  3. Application Submission:
    • Applications can only be submitted online.
    • The online application facility will be available from 14/09/2024 to 13/10/2024 on the IGCAR website under “Opportunities > Recruitment”.
  4. Prepare Required Documents:
    • Scanned Documents: Prepare the following documents in PDF format for uploading:
      • Caste Certificate (PDF size up to 1 MB)
      • 8th/10th Mark Sheet (whichever is applicable), ITI Trade Certificate (NCVT/SCVT), semester-wise Mark Sheets, and Consolidated Mark Sheet (all in one PDF, size up to 5 MB).
  5. Fill the Application Form:
    • Enter personal details and details of the trade applied for, as per the certificates issued to you.
    • Ensure the details, including name and date of birth, are correctly entered. Incorrect information may lead to disqualification.
  6. Email and Mobile Number:
    • A registered Email ID and Mobile Number are mandatory. Keep them active throughout the Apprenticeship training period, as all correspondence from IGCAR will be sent via email.
  7. Final Submission:
    • Review all details carefully before final submission.
    • No changes or corrections will be allowed after submission.
    • Incomplete applications or those without the required documents will be rejected.
  8. Accommodation:
    • Selected candidates may be provided with hostel accommodation on a chargeable basis, subject to availability.
