Job Description
The selected candidate will report to the Dean (A&F)/Director and will be responsible for the following:
1. Finance and Accounts Management:
- In charge of the finance and accounts section of the Institute.
2. Internal Financial Adviser:
- Function as an internal financial adviser, providing advice on financial matters.
3. Funds Monitoring:
- Monitor the flow of funds and ensure proper budgetary control.
- Manage grants, investments, and ways and means positions.
4. Financial Review/Control:
- Prepare periodical financial review and control statements.
5. Additional Duties:
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the management from time to time.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Essential Qualification:
- Postgraduate degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.
2. Experience:
- 15 years of experience in financial administration, including:
- Central/State Government Organizations, Central PSUs, Autonomous Bodies, or Research Institutes.
- Minimum 8 years in Level 12 of the 7th CPC, with roles such as Deputy Registrar, Deputy Finance Officer, or equivalent.
- For Deputation:
- Officers from the Central/State Government, Institutes of National Importance, or PSUs:
- Holding an analogous post or,
- Meeting the qualifications and experience as per direct recruitment criteria.

3. Desirable Experience:
- Strong knowledge of government rules and regulations related to accounts, audit, service conditions, and corporate accounting.
- Proven leadership abilities with adaptability and the capacity to work as a team leader.
