1. Position Overview:
- Position: Research Associate-I (RA-I)
- Location: MUSE Lab, IIT Gandhinagar
- Supervisor: Prof. Karla Mercado-Shekhar
- Project Funded by: Department of Biotechnology (DBT) India Alliance
2. Research Focus:
- The RA will engage in biomedical research centered on ultrasound characterization of tissues.
3. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct independent research in the field of biomedical ultrasound.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting of biomedical engineers, electrical engineers, and clinicians.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualifications:
- Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Imaging Physics, or related fields.
- The degree must be obtained from a recognized institution/university.
- A consistently good academic record (>= 1st Division) from class 10 onwards.
2. Publications:
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals are required.
3. Ph.D. Thesis:
- Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis are also eligible to apply.
4. Technical Skills:
- Basic experience in programming and data analysis using MATLAB.
