2. IIT Indore Recruitment 2024 : Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria

1. Essential Qualification

Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:

• Educational Background:
  • Option 1: M.Sc. in Physics or Chemistry with CSIR/UGC-NET-JRF.
  • Option 2: M.Tech. in a relevant field (Physics or Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering).
  • Option 3: Ph.D. thesis submitted (or about to submit) in a relevant field.
• Academic Performance:
  • First class (minimum 60%) in both graduate and postgraduate degrees or an equivalent grade.
  • A very good academic record is mandatory.

2. Preference

Candidates with expertise in the following areas will be prioritized:

• Computational materials science.
• Porous Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) and Covalent Organic Frameworks (COFs).
• Potential applications of MOFs and COFs in hydrogen storage.

3. Age Limit

• Maximum age: 35 years.
• Age relaxation: Applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government of India norms.

Selection Process
