Eligibility Criteria

1. Minimum Educational Qualifications:

A. Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:

  • Full-time Diploma in Engineering or Technology in a relevant discipline, awarded by:
    • A State Council or Board of Technical Education established by the State Government.
    • A University in a related discipline.
    • An institution recognized by the State or Central Government as equivalent.

B. Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices:

  • Full-time Degree in Arts, Science, Commerce, or Humanities (e.g., BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, BBM, BCA), granted by:
    • A Statutory or Deemed University, and approved by UGC.

2. Age Limit:

  • The age requirements will be as specified by the Apprenticeship Rules.

3. Previous Training/Experience:

  • Candidates who have previously completed or are currently enrolled in an apprenticeship program under the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973, or those with one year or more of experience are ineligible to apply.
