3. ITR Recruitment 2024: Eligibility
To apply online for ITR Recruitment 2024, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria discussed in this section:
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
- B.E/B.Tech/Diploma/BBA/B.Com candidates must have registered their names at NATS Portal. Non-registered candidates are likely to be rejected.
- Candidates who have passed their B.E/B.Tech/Diploma/BBA/B.Com degree in the years 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 are eligible to apply.
- Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination earlier than 2020 are not eligible.
- Postgraduate qualification holders are not eligible to apply.
- Mode of Study:
- Only candidates who have completed the qualifying examination as regular candidates are eligible to apply.
- Experience:
- B.E/B.Tech/Diploma/BBA/B.Com degree holders who have had training or job experience for a period of one year or more after attaining the essential qualifications are NOT eligible for engagement as an apprentice under the Act.
4. ITR Recruitment 2024 : Selection Process
Selection Criteria for Apprentice Trainee:

- Selection will be based on a Written Test/Personal Interview/Both for shortlisted candidates only.
- Important Notes:
- It is mandatory to provide the percentage of marks secured in the essential qualification in the application form.
- If the percentage of marks is not available, the following formula will be applied:
- CGPA X 10 = Percentage

How to Apply:
- Application Submission:
- Applications must be submitted in the prescribed form given as annexure-‘A’ (also available in .docx format on the DRDO website).
- The completed application form should be typed and submitted along with self-attested photocopies of documents including:
- Educational mark sheets and certificates (10th, 12th, Diploma, B.Tech/BBA/B.Com)
- Caste Certificate
- Identity Proof

- All information regarding the Written Test/Interview, call letters, etc., will be provided through the website only.
- No hardcopy mailing of Written Test/Interview call letters will be done by ITR. Candidates are responsible for receiving, downloading, and printing their Admit Card/Call Letter.

- Candidates should retain a copy of the completed application form for their records.

6. ITR Recruitment 2024 : Terms & Condition
Terms & Conditions for Apprenticeship Training:
- Communication:

- Training Duration:
- The training period will be 12 months, commencing from the execution of the Contract of Apprenticeship.
- Medical Fitness Certificate:
- Selected candidates must submit a “Medical Fitness Certificate” at the time of joining.
- Verification of Credentials:
- Verification of credentials will be conducted for selected candidates prior to the creation of the contract. Any deviation or non-conformity with the desired qualification will result in the immediate rejection of the candidature.
- Travel Expenses:
- No TA/DA will be paid to applicants called at any stage of the selection process.
- Contract Execution:
- Selected candidates must execute a Contract for a period of 12 months as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961, and the rules framed thereunder.
- Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates should ensure they fulfill the eligibility criteria and other norms mentioned in the advertisement before applying.
- Employment Obligation:
- There is no obligation on the part of Integrated Test Range, Chandipur, to offer employment to any apprentice after the completion of the apprenticeship training.
- Disqualification:
- Suppression of facts will lead to disqualification at any stage of the selection process.
- Number of Seats:
- ITR reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of seats for apprenticeship training.
- Canvassing:
- Any canvassing or personal follow-up intended to influence the selection process will lead to the immediate cancellation of the candidature.
- Advertisement/Cancellation:
- ITR reserves the right to withdraw or cancel the advertisement/selection process if circumstances warrant, without assigning any reason.
- Legal Jurisdiction:
- In case of any dispute, the legal jurisdiction will be the Hon’ble High Court of Odisha, Cuttack.
- Accommodation and Transport:
- Apprentices will not be provided with any government quarters, hostel accommodation, or transport by the establishment during the Written Test/Interview and the training period.
