The duties associated with the post include:
1. Repairing of Fine-Type Instruments:
- Responsible for the repair and maintenance of fine instruments such as watches, precision tools, and other delicate equipment.
2. Repairing of Optical Instruments:
- Repair and maintain optical instruments, ensuring they function correctly.
3. Repairing of Mechanical Instruments:
- Perform repairs on mechanical instruments, addressing any issues related to their functionality.
4. Repairing of Electrical Instruments:
- Conduct repairs on electrical instruments, ensuring they are operational and meet the required standards.
5. Additional Responsibilities:
- Carry out any other work or tasks assigned by the superior as needed for the smooth functioning of the department or unit.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Qualification Required:
- 12th pass with Science or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
- Trade Certificate in Instrument Mechanic Trade (Two years course) from an Industrial Training Institute or Central Training Institute.
2. Work Experience Required:
- Minimum of two years of experience in repairing process or precision instruments.
3. Age Range:
- As per Government Norms.

Pay Scale
- Basic Pay: ₹19,900 to ₹63,200 per month
