Eligibility Criteria and Pay Scale

1. Level-6 (Pay Scale: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400)

  • Vacancies: 9 Posts
  • Eligibility:
    • Retired employees from Central/State Governments, Statutory Bodies, or Autonomous Organizations.
    • Former rank: Research Assistant/Assistant (Level 6 of the pay matrix) or UDC or equivalent, with 10 years of service in Level 04 of the pay matrix.
  • Experience Required:
    • 5 Posts: Experience in noting and drafting, handling legal matters, complaints, and grievances.
    • 1 Post: Experience as a Librarian.
    • 1 Post: Experience in Urdu translation.
    • 1 Post: Experience as an Accountant.
    • 1 Post: Experience in establishment and administrative matters.
  • Skills: Adequate computer proficiency.

2. Level-4 (Pay Scale: ₹25,500 – ₹81,100)

  • Vacancies: 2 Posts
  • Eligibility:
    • Retired employees from Central/State Governments, Statutory Bodies, or Autonomous Organizations.
    • Former rank: UDC/Steno Gr. ‘D’ or equivalent, or LDC with 10 years of service in Level 02 of the pay matrix.
  • Experience Required: Work experience as a Stenographer.

3. Level-2 (Pay Scale: ₹19,900 – ₹63,200)

  • Vacancies: 1 Post
  • Eligibility:
    • Retired employees from Central/State Governments, Statutory Bodies, or Autonomous Organizations.
    • Former rank: LDC or equivalent in Level 02 of the pay matrix.

Required Expertise

  • Familiarity with Government Functioning:
    • Must be well acquainted with the operations of Government Ministries, Departments, and related organizations.
  • Knowledge of Rules and Regulations:
    • Should have a solid understanding of the various rules and regulations of the Government of India.
    • Capable of handling policy matters, administrative issues, recruitment rules, general administration, vigilance, cash, financial matters, parliamentary matters, and budget concerns.
  • Independent Handling of Tasks:
    • Able to manage tasks such as noting, drafting, case examination, tender-related work, GEM/PFMS (specifically for Accountant roles), and other relevant duties independently.
  • Computer Skills:
    • Must have proficient working knowledge of MS Office, E-Office, Internet, and Email.

Selection Process

The selection process for the Consultant positions will involve the following steps:

a.) Scrutiny of Applications:

  • All received applications will be reviewed and shortlisted based on the eligibility criteria.

b.) Screening Committee Interaction:

  • A Screening Committee will interact with the shortlisted candidates to assess their suitability for the role.

c.) Recommendation:

  • The Screening Committee will prepare a panel of recommended candidates, including a waitlist of potential candidates.

d.) Approval by Competent Authority:

  • The final list of selected candidates, as recommended by the Screening Committee, will be submitted to the competent authority for approval.
