Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit:

  • Maximum Age: 35 years as of 09/09/2024.

2. Qualification:

  • Educational Requirement:
    • B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics, Computer Science, IT, or its equivalent.

3. Experience:

  • Minimum Experience:
    • At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in one of the following areas:
      • Electronic Data Processing
      • Computer programming/software development
      • Database management systems
      • Networking
      • Organizing computerized information storage and retrieval systems
      • Data security
  • Desirable Experience:
    • Experience working in a Metro Rail environment, particularly with Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) systems.

4. Current/Required Pay Scale/CTC:

a.) CDA (Central DA):

  • Working in Analogous Pay Scale:
    • Rs. 44,900 – 142,400 (Level 7)
  • Or:
    • Last 3 years of service in the pay scale of Rs. 35,400 – 112,400 (Level 6).

b.) IDA (Industrial DA):

  • Working in Analogous Pay Scale:
    • Rs. 30,000 – 120,000 (E0)
  • Or:
    • Last 3 years of service in the pay scale of Rs. 29,500 – 105,850 (NE8).

c.) Private Sector:

  • Minimum CTC Requirement:
    • Rs. 7 Lakhs per annum.

5. Important Notes:

  1. Eligibility Verification: Candidates must ensure they fulfill all eligibility criteria as mentioned in the Vacancy Notice. NCRTC will verify eligibility with original documents on the interview date. Candidates found ineligible will not progress in the selection process.
  2. Mandatory Qualifications: Essential educational qualifications are mandatory and must be from UGC recognized Indian Universities or AICTE approved institutions.
  3. Full-Time Courses: Only full-time regular courses will be considered for eligibility.
  4. Equivalence Certificates: Candidates claiming equivalent qualifications must provide an equivalence certificate issued by the relevant institute.
  5. Specialization in Management Degrees: For dual specialization in Management qualifications, one specialization must be function-specific to the advertised post.
  6. Documentary Proof for CGPA/Grade: Candidates awarded CGPA/OGPA/CPI must indicate the equivalent percentage of marks as per their university’s norms and provide documentary proof during the interview.

4. NCRTC Recruitment 2024 : Selection Process

Selection Process

  1. Written Test/CBT:
    • The selection will consist of a Written Test or Computer-Based Test (CBT) with an 80% weightage.
  2. Interview:
    • Candidates will also undergo an Interview, which carries a 20% weightage.
  3. Notification:
    • Details regarding the venue, date, and time for the Written Test/CBT will be published on the official website in advance.
  4. No Changes Allowed:
    • Requests for changes in the date or venue of the selection process (Written Test/CBT/Interview) will not be entertained.
  5. Examination Risks:
    • Candidates must appear for the examination at their own risk and expense. NCRTC will not be responsible for any injuries or losses incurred.
  6. Travel Allowance:
    • No TA/DA (Travel Allowance/Dearness Allowance) will be provided for attending the Written Test/CBT.
  7. Shortlisting for Interview:
    • Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview in the order of merit within their respective categories at a 1:5 ratio.
  8. Document Verification:
    • Document verification will take place before the interview. Candidates must bring their original certificates for verification; failure to do so will result in disqualification from the interview.

How to Apply

  1. Online Application:
    • Candidates must apply online through the NCRTC website at www.ncrtc.in under the Career Section. No other application modes will be accepted.
  2. Preparation Before Applying:
    • Candidates should ensure they have the following ready before registering online:
      • A valid e-mail ID and mobile number.
      • A scanned copy of a recent passport-sized colored photograph (3.5 x 4.5 cm), with a file size of up to 100 kb in .jpg/.jpeg format.
      • A scanned copy of their signature (signed on white paper with a black pen) in the same format and size.
  3. Document Upload:
    • While applying online, candidates must upload self-attested copies of the following documents:
      • 10th Certificate/Birth Certificate.
      • Degree Certificates for Graduation and Post-Graduation, indicating the stream/specialization.
      • Appointment letter, Joining Order, and the latest salary slip from the current organization.
      • Copies of the Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APARs) for the last three years (for Government/Public Sector candidates).
      • Office Orders reflecting promotions.
      • Experience/Service Certificate/Relieving Order from previous organizations.
      • Form-16/Income Tax Returns (for private sector candidates).
      • Last six months’ bank statement (for private sector candidates).
      • Last three months’ salary slips.
      • CTC proof (if applicable).
      • Caste certificate (if applicable).
      • “No Objection Certificate” if currently employed in a Government organization or unable to forward the application through the proper channel. A bona fide relieving order from the present employer will be required at the time of joining.
  4. Rejection of Incomplete Applications:
    • Applications without the required supporting certificates/documents will be summarily rejected.
  5. Submitting the Application:
    • After submitting the online application, candidates must download the Application Form generated by the system, which will include a Unique Registration Number.
    • The completed application form, along with supporting documents, should be sent by hand or post to the Career Cell, HR Department, GatiShakti Bhawan, National Capital Region Transport Corporation, INA, New Delhi – 110023.
  6. Envelope Superscription:
    • The envelope containing the application printout and supporting documents should be clearly marked as: APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF EXECUTIVE (SYSTEMS) ON DIRECT RECRUITMENT BASIS – 39/2024.
  7. Active Communication:
    • Candidates must keep their registered e-mail ID and mobile number active throughout the recruitment process. All important communications, including the Registration Number and Password, will be sent to this e-mail ID. Ensure that emails do not redirect to junk/spam folders.
  8. Accuracy in Application:
