A. Post: Deputy Manager (Electrical Erection) – 45 Posts

• Qualification: B.E/B. Tech in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics with at least 60% marks.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification executive experience in Power/Steel/Refinery/Fertilizer/Oil & Gas/Cement sector, including 3 years of site experience in Electrical Erection/Maintenance/Commissioning.

B. Post: Deputy Manager (Mechanical Erection) – 95 Posts

• Qualification: B.E/B. Tech in Mechanical/Production with at least 60% marks.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification executive experience in Power/Steel/Refinery/Fertilizer/Oil & Gas/Cement sector, including 3 years of site experience in Mechanical Erection/Maintenance/Commissioning.

C. Post: Deputy Manager (C&I Erection) – 35 Posts

• Qualification: B.E/B. Tech in Electronics/Control & Instrumentation/Instrumentation with at least 60% marks.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification executive experience in Power/Steel/Refinery/Fertilizer/Oil & Gas/Cement sector, including 3 years of site experience in C&I Erection/Maintenance/Commissioning.

D. Post: Deputy Manager (Civil Construction) – 75 Posts

• Qualification: B.E/B. Tech in Civil/Construction with at least 60% marks.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification executive experience in Power/Steel/Refinery/Fertilizer/Oil & Gas/Cement sector, including 3 years of site experience in Civil Construction.

Note for All Positions

1. For Govt/Public Sector Candidates:
   • Must have at least 2 years of experience in a scale of Rs. 60,000-1,80,000 or equivalent (IDA pay scale E3 grade or above).
   • NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the current employer is required.
2. For Private Sector Candidates:
   • Must submit Form 16 related to Income Tax Return for the last 3 financial years.
3. Upper Age Limit:
   • 40 years for all posts.

• The recruitment is for positions at the E4 Grade level with a pay scale of IDA (Rs. 70,000 – 2,00,000/-).

Selection process

1. Application Shortlisting/Screening: Based on qualifications, years of post-qualification experience, and site experience.
2. Written/Computer-Based Test: A test to assess relevant knowledge and skills.
3. Personal Interview: An interview to further evaluate the candidate’s suitability for the role.

Additionally, the management may choose to raise the minimum eligibility standards or criteria if necessary.

1. Online Application:

2. Application Fee:
   • For General/EWS/OBC Candidates: Pay a non-refundable application fee of ₹300.
   • For SC/ST/PwBD/XSM Category & Female Candidates: No application fee required.
3. Payment Instructions:
   • Offline Mode:
     • Pay the fee at State Bank of India (SBI) in a specially opened account (A/C No. 30987919993) at CAG branch, New Delhi (Code: 09996).
     • Use the “pay-in-slip” from the application portal to make the deposit.
     • Obtain a unique Journal Number and Branch Code from the bank. Enter these details during your online application.
   • Online Mode:
     • You can also pay the fee through Net banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card via the online application form.
4. After Payment:
   • Download and retain the application slip with the unique application number generated by the system.
   • No documents need to be sent by post.
5. Important Notes:

7. NTPC Recruitment 2024 : Documents during the Application Process

Documents Required

1. Class X Passing Certificate/Marksheet – For proof of Name and Date of Birth.
2. Aadhar Card and PAN Card – For identity verification.
3. Engineering Consolidated Marksheet/Transcript – Or all semester marksheets indicating the aggregate percentage of marks.
4. Marks Conversion Formula – If applicable, for converting CGPA/CGPI/DGPA/CGI/CPI to percentage.
5. Caste/Disability Certificate – For SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD/EWS candidates, as applicable.
6. OBC-NCL Certificate – Should be in the central format for the current financial year (FY 2024-25).
7. EWS Certificate – Income and Asset certificate for FY 2024-25, based on FY 2023-24 income.
8. Disability Certificate – As per the latest Central Govt. format from the Swavalamban/UDID portal, showing the type and percentage of disability.
9. Experience Documents – To support 10 years of post-qualification executive experience, including 3 years of site experience in the specified area. Documents should be in chronological order and include experience certificates, appointment letters, offer letters, confirmation letters, promotion orders, role assignment orders, transfer orders, service certificates, relieving letters, and 2 pay slips per year.
10. Form 16 – For candidates from the private sector, for the last 3 financial years.
11. No Objection Certificate (NOC) – For candidates from Govt/Public Sector undertakings.
12. Pay-Scale Circular/Matrix – For Govt/Public Sector candidates to verify at least 2 years of experience in the specified pay scale or equivalent.
