- Educational Qualification:
- Diploma Holders: Diploma in Radio/Telecommunication/Electrical/Electronics/IT/EC Engineering from a recognized University/Institution/Board.
- Bachelor’s Degree Holders: Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication/Electrical/Electronics/IT/EC Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
- Experience:
- For Diploma Holders: Two years of experience in the Broadcast Field/IT (Hardware & Networking) Field.
- For BE/B.Tech Holders: One year of experience in the Broadcast Field/IT (Hardware & Networking) Field.
- Note: Period of Apprenticeship, if any, in Akashvani/Doordarshan can be considered.

5. Prasar Bharati Recruitment 2024 : Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions of Engagement
- Contractual Basis: The services will be purely on a contractual basis. The engaged persons shall have no claim, either implicit or explicit, for absorption or regularization in Prasar Bharati.
- Full-Time Engagement: The person will be engaged on a full-time basis and will not be allowed to take up any other assignment during the period of contractual engagement.
- Additional Tasks: Persons engaged on a contract basis may be assigned additional tasks apart from the specific tasks for which they are engaged.
- Engagement Period: The period of engagement shall initially be for two years with an annual appraisal, which may be extendable based on the organization’s requirements and performance review.
- Termination Notice: The engagement can be discontinued/terminated with one month’s notice or one month’s salary in lieu thereof by either side without assigning any reason.
- No Pension Benefits: No claim for pensionary benefits on account of this contractual engagement shall be admissible.
- Position Numbers: Prasar Bharati reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions depending on the organization’s requirements.
- Test/Interview: Prasar Bharati reserves the right to conduct tests and/or interviews of the shortlisted candidates. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the test/interview.
- Document Submission: Candidates are requested to upload complete and clear copies of all requested documents. Incomplete applications will be rejected without any intimation.
