Mode of Selection

The selection process for the Judgment Writer post will include the following steps:

  1. Shorthand Dictation and Transcription Test:
    • Candidates must take dictation in English Shorthand at a speed of 120 w.p.m..
    • The dictated content must be transcribed on a computer at a speed of 24 w.p.m..
    • The shorthand dictation will last for 10 minutes.
    • Candidates who make more than 5% mistakes in transcription will not qualify.
  2. Spreadsheet Test (Qualifying in Nature):
    • This test is worth 10 marks and will last for 10 minutes.
    • To qualify, candidates must secure 40% or more marks (i.e., a minimum of 4 marks).
  3. Final Selection:
    • The final merit list of qualified candidates will be prepared based on performance in the word processing/transcription test.
    • Spreadsheet test marks are not considered for merit but must be passed to qualify.
  4. Verification of Testimonials:
    • After the tests, candidates will be notified via SMS and/or email to submit their original testimonials for verification.
    • Being called for document verification does not necessarily mean the candidate has qualified or is eligible for selection.
  5. Other Conditions:
