c) Medical Fitness
Candidates selected as trainees will undergo a medical examination conducted by the Medical Officer at Burnpur Hospital, SAIL-IISCO Steel Plant. Only those declared fit will be allowed to join the training program.
d) Document Verification
Selected candidates must produce all required testimonials and certificates of relevant qualifications (matriculation onwards) during the selection process.

Stipend & Allowances for SAIL IISCO Recruitment 2024
- Stipend: ₹ 17,980/- per month (paid on a prorated basis according to attendance).
- Maximum Payable Amount: ₹ 25,000/- per month, including ₹ 17,980/- stipend and up to ₹ 7,020/- allowance (based on attendance).
- Knowledge & Skill Enhancement Allowance:
All payments will be made through bank transfers, and no additional payments will be made during the training period.

Switch Over
- Trainees are not permitted to switch their assigned specialty stream during the training period.
- However, they may apply for a fresh term after completing the current training cycle.
Facilities During Training
- Medical Facilities: Trainees are entitled to medical care (without referral) for themselves at the company hospital.
- Accommodation: Accommodation may be available on a payment basis, subject to availability, for self only.
- Certification: Upon successful completion of the training, a Certificate of Proficiency will be awarded by IISCO Steel Plant Hospital.
Leave Facilities During Training
- Trainees are entitled to 7 days of Casual Leave during the training period.
- They are also entitled to Closed Holiday or Compensatory Off for National Holidays.
Conduct and Discipline During Training
- The Proficiency Training Programme (Paramedic) is temporary and lasts for 18 months. Trainees may be terminated without notice if their conduct or performance is unsatisfactory.
- Selected trainees must execute an Undertaking on a Judicial Stamp Paper of ₹10 to serve the IISCO Steel Plant Hospital strictly as a vocational trainee. They cannot claim employment at the hospital after training or raise any disputes in this regard.
- Trainees must declare that they will complete the full training period.
- Trainees are required to follow Safety, Discipline, Conduct, Professional Ethics, and adhere to orders from the Medical Administration.
- On successful completion of the training, a Certificate of Completion will be issued to the candidates.
