b) BHEL Recruitment 2024 Educational Qualification

Education Qualification

  • Matriculation/SSC: Must be passed.
  • ITI Qualification: Should be obtained as a regular full-time candidate with a minimum of:
    • 60% marks for General/EWS/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates
    • 55% marks for SC/ST candidates
  • ITI Certification: Only candidates who have completed ITI from the National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) are eligible.
  • Year of Passing: Candidates must have completed their ITI in or after 2021. Dependents of regular employees (Serving/Retired/Deceased) are eligible for an additional relaxation of 3 years in the year of passing ITI.

Written Test

  • Selection Basis: Selection will be based on the performance in the Written Test and meeting the notified eligibility criteria.
  • Test Details:
    • Duration: 60 Minutes
    • Format: 50 Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) from the respective trade syllabus.
    • Options: Four options with one correct answer.
    • Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking.
  • Merit List: A panel will be created based on the marks obtained in the Assessment Test.

Important Note on Aadhaar & e-KYC Verification

  • Aadhaar Details: Ensure your Aadhaar details (number, Date of Birth, gender, name spelling) are accurate and match your SSC Certificate. Complete your profile using Aadhaar verification.
  • Correction: If there is any discrepancy, get your Aadhaar corrected from the concerned agency.
  • e-KYC Verification: This is mandatory. Fill in your bank details and IFSC code correctly during the e-KYC verification stage.

Forms for Dependents of Regular Employees (Serving/Retired/Deceased)

  • Submission Requirements:
    • Printout of the completed application form from BHEL Hyderabad Website.
    • Form-I: Must be forwarded through the Concerned HR Cell/Welfare Section.

  1. Visit the BHEL Website:
    • Go to BHEL Hyderabad Website.
    • Click on the link ‘Engagement of Trade Apprentices 2024-25’ and select ‘Apply’.
  2. Create an Account:
    • Provide your Apprenticeship Registration number, Date of Birth, and Mobile Number.
    • Create your account.
  3. Log In:
    • Use your Apprenticeship Registration number and Date of Birth (ddmmyy) as the password.
  4. Complete the Application:
    • Fill in all required details accurately.
    • Upload all necessary documents.
    • Submit the application form.
  5. Print the Application:
    • Use the ‘Print’ option to take a printout of your completed application.
  6. Edit Option:
    • If needed, use the ‘Edit’ option by providing your Apprenticeship Registration number and Date of Birth. Note that the edit option can be used only once.
    • If you edit your application, ensure to take a new printout.
  7. Submission:
    • Generally, you do not need to send a printout to BHEL, RC Puram, Hyderabad.

Important Instructions

  • Age Limit: Candidates below 18 years of age will not be considered for apprenticeship training.
  • Eligibility: ITI qualifications obtained through distance learning, part-time, or correspondence methods, or ITI qualifications as a Private Candidate, are not eligible for apprenticeship training.
  • Application Process:
    • Register and apply to “BHEL Ramachandrapuram Hyderabad” in your respective trade on the Apprenticeship Portal before applying for apprenticeship training at BHEL, RC Puram Hyderabad through BHEL Hyderabad Website.
  • Communication: All future communication will be sent via email. Keep your email active.
  • Travel and Accommodation: No TA/DA will be provided for candidates shortlisted for the Written Test/Verification/Selection process. No transport or hostel facilities will be provided to selected candidates.
  • Document Submission: Upload and submit the Passing Certificate, Mark Sheets of Matric/SSC, ITI, and any applicable SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PwD/EWS certificates during the application and document verification process. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of the application.
  • Employment Claim: Apprentices have no right to claim regular employment based on apprenticeship training.
