3. DMRC Recruitment 2024: Eligibility

5.1 Essential Technical Skills:

Job Description:
Role: Software Developer for i-CBTC Project
Key Responsibilities:
- Software Development: Design, develop, validate, and implement software solutions for the i-CBTC (Integrated Communication-Based Train Control) project.
- Sub-System Development: Work on developing various sub-systems required for the project.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure successful integration and performance of software components.
Term of Engagement:
- Contract Basis: Fixed-term contractual basis.
- Initial Period: Three years.
- Extension: The contract may be extended based on requirement, mutual consent, and satisfactory performance, at the sole discretion of DMRC (Delhi Metro Rail Corporation).
5. DMRC Recruitment 2024: Pay Scale
Remuneration Details:
a) Consolidated Salary:
- Amount: ₹63,112 per month.
b) Benefits:
- The salary mentioned is inclusive of all benefits such as accommodation, transport, medical coverage, Leave Travel Allowance (LTA), canteen facilities, etc.
- Note: No additional financial benefits or allowances beyond the consolidated salary will be provided.
c) Medical Coverage:
- Contractual employees are responsible for securing their own medical insurance policy, which should cover COVID-19 and other diseases.
d) Provident Fund (PF) and Gratuity:
- PF Contribution: Minimum PF as per the EPF & MP Act 1952 will be deducted at 12% on ₹15,000 (currently ₹1,800 per month), with an equivalent contribution made by DMRC.
- Gratuity: Gratuity will be paid as per the Gratuity Act. The basic pay for gratuity calculation will be 65% of the consolidated remuneration, with the component of Dearness Allowance (DA) considered as ‘NIL.’
e) Fixed Remuneration:
- The consolidated remuneration is fixed throughout the fixed-term appointment and will not increase after the contract period ends.
- The salary will be reduced proportionately in case of any absence from work.
6. DMRC Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
Selection Process:
- Screening Test:
- The screening test will evaluate various aspects including knowledge, skills, technical and professional proficiency, competency, aptitude, and physical fitness.
- Candidates must pass this test to move forward in the selection process.
- Medical Fitness Examination:
- Category: The medical examination will be in the Bee-Two (B-2) Medical Category.

- Candidates who fail to meet the prescribed medical standards will not be offered an alternative engagement. The decision of DMRC regarding medical fitness is final.
